My name is Njoki Michoma. I am a mother, a kindergarten teacher and the creator of For Growing Minds.
After completing my diploma in EARLY CHILDHOOD, I have had the privilege of teaching in both the Montessori curriculum as well as the British curriculum. My child is in the newly rolled out Kenyan education system C.B.C. The blog was inspired by my experience as a kindergarten teacher, as well as being a mother of two. As I enjoy parenting my children, I realise that I have an upper hand as a teacher on activities and background knowledge on different ways to help my children grow holistically.
This is my platform to share what I know and what I see in my motherhood and educator journey.
Somethings are nice and sweet, while other experiences that I will share as a teacher are just heart breaking.
